Small Enough

Will it change my original photo?

No. Small Enough creates a separate JPEG copy. Your original photo is left unchanged.

Why does a smaller photo look different?

Meeting a lower file-size limit may require reducing quality or dimensions. Choose a larger limit if the destination allows it, and check the result before sharing.

Where is the result saved?

The app prepares a temporary result. Use the share sheet to save it to a destination you choose, such as Files, or send it to another app. A preview inside Small Enough is not a permanent saved copy.

The app can’t meet my size limit.

Try a larger limit or a different photo. If a reasonable target still fails, tell us the input format, approximate dimensions, target size, and error message.

Quiet Tempo

How do I start a new tempo estimate?

Stop tapping for more than 2.5 seconds, then tap your new pulse. Two taps give the first estimate; more taps refine it. You can also tap the BPM number to enter a tempo directly.

What does BPM mean in 6/8?

Quiet Tempo counts one click per eighth note in /8 meters. At 120 BPM, 6/8 plays six clicks per bar, spaced half a second apart. It does not interpret the BPM as dotted-quarter notes.

Why did playback stop?

A phone call, audio interruption, or disconnected headphones can stop playback. Check your volume and audio output, then press Start. The app doesn’t resume on its own after an interruption.

Does tap tempo listen through my microphone?

No. Tempo is calculated from the times you tap the button. Quiet Tempo doesn’t request microphone access or record sound.
